Crissy Field is one of the longest swims of the Dolphin Club swim program, similar distance to the Bay Bridge swim, and one mile less than Fort Point. In 2023 Crissy Field was the longest swim because Fort Point was canceled. Crissy Field is a challenging swim due to the back eddy which forms along the western end near the starting point. Recent past years have used a boat start, attempting to avoid the back eddy, but in 2023 the swim returned to a beach start following a bus trip. This poster highlights scenic landmarks along the swim, from the starting point near the "Warming Hut" at the west end, to the midpoint at the east end of Crissy Field marked by Palace of fine arts, and ending with the Dolphin clubhouse seen in the distance behind the currently crumbling Muni Pier.
